Getting here
Drive: Zeballos is located on Vancouver Island's West Coast. Drive north on Highway 19 past Campbell River, Sayward Junction, and Woss Junction. Stay on Hwy 19 for another 20 km past Woss. Then turn down Zeballos Road and drive 40 km on a gravel road. Prepare to drive slowly, and watch for elk, deer, bear, and logging trucks on the road.

Come by sea: Put an X on the chart and point your compass toward Zeballos Inlet.
Take the Uchuck: During summer months, the MV Uchuck III, arrives from Gold River via Friendly Cove and Tahsis every Tuesday, with cargo and 30 or 40 passengers. The ship harbours in Zeballos overnight and departs the next morning. Contact us for times and changes.
Book a water or kayak shuttle: Zeballos Expeditions provides water taxi service and kayak shuttles from Zeballos to all outlying areas including Nuchatlitz Park, Port Eliza, Friendly Cove, and Louie Bay.Getting to Vancouver Island
Drive: Bring a vehicle from any point in North America and drive it aboard a ferry. Take the ferry from West Vancouver to Nanaimo, or from south Vancouver (Surrey) to Victoria, or from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy. Need help? Call us.
Catch a plane: There are scheduled flights to all the main towns and cities on Vancouver Island: Victoria, Nanaimo, Courtenay, Campbell River, and Port Hardy. When you get to Vancouver Island, rent a vehicle or charter another plane.
