Getting around by road and sea with Zeballos Expeditions
Zeballos Expeditions will pick-up anywhere on Vancouver Island
Ride in a comfortable, air-conditioned van with lots of room for your gear. Our back-road vehicle provides service between Zeballos, Fair Harbour, and any point on Vancouver Island. For example, we will pick-up and drop-off at Comox Airport, Campbell River Airport, and the Nanaimo ferry terminals.
We are fully licensed and insured (to government and school standards), and have professional, courteous drivers.
Kayak shuttle
Zeballos Expeditions provides kayak shuttles services between Zeballos, Little Espinosa and Fair Harbour and Port Hardy; and between Coal Harbour and Winter Harbour (for the challenging Brooks Peninsula paddlers).
If you're touring to places like the Nootka Sound region, we'll bring you and your kayaks to some of the best jumping-off points on the west coast. Support services include: messages, float plane filing, radio contact, and water and food re-stocking. Click here for more information.
Zeballos Water Taxi
Destinations include Esperanza, Tahsis, Gold River, Friendly Cove, Nuchatlitz, Queen's Cove, Port Eliza, Weasel Creek, Oclucje, Louie Bay, and Ferrier Point.

Local guide outfitters Dan and Cristina O'Connor have provided eco-tourism services in Zeballos for 11 years. They share their knowledge of surrounding waterways, the ecosystem, and hiking trails with their kayaking / hiking / camping visitors. Zeballos Expeditions will help you plan your wilderness hiking and camping expeditions, saltwater fishing trips, sightseeing, and First Nations cultural tours.
